The expertise of all of these lottery professionals and extensive quality testing has ensured the security and integrity of the games Kansans enjoy so much."
“It’s big news for us on the lottery team to break records with back to back transfer amounts” Wyoming CEO Jon Clontz said. “Our team is extremely motivated to deliver great games and products to our Wyoming players, but we are also equally motivated by the amounts we are able to transfer quarterly back to the state we all love. It’s rewarding. “ Clontz concluded.
“We have just finished an astounding year on several fronts,” Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich said Friday. “With strong sales, another clean audit, strong support for ‘play responsibly’ messages and an international award for gaming compliance in the long-running jackpot investigation case, it was a well-rounded, successful year for our organization.”

"Several new initiatives really helped push sales to this record-breaking level," said KLC President and CEO Tom Delacenserie. "An increased emphasis on marketing and in-store messaging, changes in prize structures that players really liked, and new measures implemented by our outstanding staff and retailers are the reason for this increase. FY18 was a year where we laid the groundwork for continued success, so we look to continue this growth pattern into FY19."
All told, the Lottery has generated more than $4.6 billion for education in the state since its inception on Jan. 20, 2004. “These results are incredible news for Tennessee,” said Rebecca Hargrove, President and CEO of the Lottery. “Thanks to the help of so many, from players and retailers to our dedicated team, Lottery funding continues to provide a strong foundation for education in the state.”
Mr. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chief Executive Officer at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, said: “We are delighted with another record season, one of our most exciting seasons both on and off the track.
“I’m grateful to our retailers, staff and players for the good year we’ve had,” said Kansas Lottery Executive Director Terry Presta. “Instant tickets continue to grow as our biggest category. We are up in the two big multi-state jackpot games Powerball and Mega Millions, and sales show players are enjoying our new games, Lotto America and Lucky for Life.”

At the Lottery, we celebrate good fun with a great social purpose,” said Virginia Lottery Executive Director Kevin Hall. “The record $600 million we contributed to public schools this year will help local schools fund child nutrition programs, early reading intervention, career education and other important classroom programs. The Lottery celebrates its 30th birthday in 2018. The first ticket was sold on September 20, 1988.
