The government has, due to covid-19, decided on a temporary regulation focusing on gaming liability measures. The Provisional Regulation will enter into force on 2 July and expires at the end of 2020.

Gambling Responsibility Measures in the New Temporary Regulation:

• The deposit limit for a gaming account when playing at an online casino may amount to a maximum of SEK 5,000 per week. The corresponding loss limit shall apply in the case of gaming on vending machines.
• It should also be mandatory for players to set limits on playing time at online casino games and vending machines.
• Bonuses offered by licensees who provide online casinos and vending machines may amount to a maximum of SEK 100.
