Nominations Accepted for KYCPG’s Gleason Award Nominations for the annual Arch L. Gleason Award for Responsible Gambling Leadership now are being accepted by the Kentucky Council on Problem Gambling (KYCPG).

The Gleason Award honors gambling industry executives for commitment to and leadership of responsible gambling actions in their business and with their industry. Nomination applications can be downloaded from the KYCPG website, www.kycpg.org, or can be obtained by sending an e-mail to KYCPG Executive Director Michael R. The 2018 recipient of the Gleason Award was Alice Garland, Executive Director, North Carolina Education Lottery.

The initial recipient, in 2017, was Thomas Meeker, retired President and CEO of Churchill Downs, Inc.

The Gleason Award winner will be honored at the 2019 KYCPG 22nd Annual Educational and Awareness Conference in Lexington, Ky., January 31-February 1, 2019.

The recipient receives travel, housing and conference registration, and presents the conference keynote address.
