El Salvador’s National Lottery of Charity (LNB) has been awarded a prestigious recognition for its leadership in Responsible Gaming practices. This honor was granted during the World Lottery Summit 2024, held from October 21 to 24 in Paris, France, organized by the World Lottery Association (WLA).

LNB President Javier Milián represented the institution at this world-class event, highlighting the LNB's commitment to implementing measures that guarantee a safe and responsible gaming experience. This recognition not only celebrates the LNB's exemplary management, but also its tireless dedication to positioning El Salvador on the international scene, aligning with President Nayib Bukele's vision of building a positive image of the country.

The Responsible Gaming campaign, launched in 2023, has been instrumental in achieving this feat. Based on the seven principles of Responsible Gaming established by the WLA, this initiative prioritizes the well-being of players and their families, promoting healthy entertainment and minimizing the risks associated with gambling addiction.

The recognition from the WLA is an honor that motivates the LNB to continue improving and providing ethical and safe entertainment, in addition to continuing to bring benefits to thousands of Salvadorans. The LNB maintains its commitment to always act with transparency, ethics and best practices, demonstrating that El Salvador is a benchmark in the state lottery industry at a global level.
