Among other things, the monthly overview shows that the gambling spend on online casino and betting fell in the first five months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. On the other hand, the spending on gaming machines and land-based casinos increased in 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. The increase may be due to the lockdowns affecting the two latter gambling sectors in 2021 in connection with Covid-19.
