APLA would like to announce that Mr Michael Fitzsimons has resigned from the Hong Kong Jockey Club and is no longer serving on the APLA Executive Committee. We would like to thank Michael for his contribution and wish him success in his future endeavor.
Effective 17 February 2025, the APLA Executive Committee will comprise the following:

Mr Raymond Tam, Executor Director, Corporate Affairs, Hong Kong Jockey Club is the newly elected Executive Committee member. Raymond has spent 30 years in the public service. He was Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs from 2011 to 2017. Before then, he was Director of the Chief Executive’s Office from 2009 to 2011, and Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs from 2008 to 2009. Raymond also served in various government positions during his earlier years as a career civil servant.
