The Moroccan Games and Sports Association (MDJS), in collaboration with the publishing house “Éditions Économiques du Maroc”, is publishing a coffee table book:

“Sport in Morocco, Achievements and Legends”.

This 320-page book pays tribute to the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, in sports, as well as to the exceptional dynamics that this field has known thanks to the High orientations of His Majesty since his accession to the throne of his glorious ancestors 25 years ago. This beautiful book celebrates Morocco's rich record by contributing to enriching the collective memory and nourishing the pride of the Nation.

It traces the exploits of Moroccan champions who have become legendary thanks to their remarkable performances at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, world championships, as well as continental and regional competitions.

Tribute is also paid to the great leaders and figures of Moroccan sport, in recognition of their considerable contribution to the heritage of our country.

Furthermore, this book highlights the major international sporting events hosted or organized by the Kingdom, thus confirming its status as a global crossroads and land of champions.

"We are very proud of this book on which we have worked for more than a year. The next edition will include the exploits of our champions participating in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the great achievements that Moroccan sport will undoubtedly experience in the future.

The MDJS has decided that this beautiful book should be accessible to all Moroccans because it is a tribute to a tangible and intangible heritage that belongs to everyone. For this we have designed a free digital version that will be downloadable on the MDJS website," said Younes El Mechrafi, MDJS general director.

“Sport in Morocco, Achievements and Legends” is available through the distribution channel of Editions Economiques du Maroc, and the digital version can be downloaded free of charge by the general public on the MDJS portal: www.mdjs.ma.
