Maryland Casinos Generate $162.7 Million in Revenue During June
 
Casinos contribute $68.4 million to the state

 

(Baltimore) — Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $162,745,300 in gaming revenue during June of 2022. The total represents an increase of $1,247,172 (0.8%) compared to June 2021.

 

Casino gaming contributions to the state in June 2022 totaled $68,358,147, an increase of $726,325 (1.1%) compared to June 2021. Contributions to the Education Trust Fund (ETF) in June 2022 were $49,668,760, an increase of $525,773 (1.1%) compared to June 2021. Casino gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

 

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

 

The gaming revenue totals for June 2022 are as follows:

 

MGM National Harbor (2,099 slot machines, 210 table games)

$68,410,674 in June 2022, an increase of $4,711,670 (7.4%) from June 2021

 

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,760 slot machines, 184 table games)

$55,999,990 in June 2022, a decrease of $2,473,190 (-4.2%) from June 2021

 

Horseshoe Casino (1,532 slot machines, 137 table games)

$17,051,846 in June 2022, an increase of $36,927 (0.2%) from June 2021

 

Ocean Downs Casino (848 slot machines, 19 table games)

$8,553,481 in June 2022, a decrease of $291,008 (-3.3%) from June 2021

 

Hollywood Casino (703 slot machines, 18 table games)

$7,387,807 in June 2022, a decrease of $323,058 (-4.2%) from June 2021

 

Rocky Gap Casino (629 slot machines, 16 table games)

$5,341,502 in June 2022, a decrease of $414,169 (-7.2%) from June 2021
