The Mega Millions jackpot has grown after the Friday night lottery drawing due to no winners for the $410 million grand prize. However, there were plenty of small wins that resulted from the latest drawing.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday, July 8 were 20, 36, 61, 62, 69, with a gold Mega Ball of 20. The Megaplier was 3X.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $440 million with a cash option of $230.9 million. The numbers will be drawn on Tuesday, July 12. 

Despite there being no grand prize lottery winners on Friday night, two ticket holders managed to become instant millionaires after hitting the Match 5.

A player from New York purchased their winning ticket at a Crosby’s store on South Main Street in Elba. The other instant millionaire from the night purchased their ticket in Arkansas.

There were 20 players that hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 each. Meanwhile, five players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball with the Megaplier and won $30,000 apiece. 

The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.

Jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
