Kentucky Lottery again named Best Places to Work in KY Finalist

KENTUCKY LOTTERY AGAIN DESIGNATED AS ONE OF THE BEST

PLACES TO WORK IN THE STATE

For the second time in two years, the Kentucky Lottery Corporation has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky.

The designation comes from an annual program presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company.

The selection process is managed by Workforce Research Group. The program is intended to motivate Kentucky companies to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.

The Kentucky Lottery was awarded the highly coveted designation in the medium-sized company category for organizations with 150 to 499 employees.

The award is given based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey. The Lottery won’t learn the final ranking in the medium-size employer group until an event to be held this summer. Last year, the Kentucky Lottery was named the top Best Place to Work in Kentucky in the medium employer category.

“To be named a best place to work again is a remarkable measure of our workplace,” said Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville. “We’ve navigated the most challenging times in the history of our organization in the last two years, and then to be named to this list for those two years is a major achievement.”
