FOR 17TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR TENNESSEE LOTTERY’S ANNUAL COMPTROLLER AUDIT CONTAINS NO FINDINGS
NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State Comptroller’s annual financial and compliance audit of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation (TEL) contains no findings for the 17th consecutive year.
“For the 17th consecutive year the TEL has received a clean audit report from state auditors. In addition, the Lottery has generated more than $6 billion for education in Tennessee,” TEL Board of Directors Chairman Will Carver said. “The audit results show the TEL has pursued its mission in an efficient and effective manner, and as board chair, I want to thank the TEL’s leadership team and dedicated staff for their work on behalf of education in the State of Tennessee.”
