Pennsylvania Lottery Adds Another Night For Powerball

“This change allows us to tell exactly what our players want. It’s a bigger, faster-growing jackpot,” said Drews Vitko, executive director of Pennsylvania Rottery. “Also, all the tickets sold remind players that they can help older Pennsylvania make money for the senior programs they rely on every day.”

Another Powerball® change starting with the draw on August 23 is that Pennsylvania players will be able to add Double-Play® to their purchases. Double play is a new optional feature that gives players the chance to win a Powerball® number in another draw for an additional $ 1 per play, with a maximum prize pool of $ 10 million.

The DoublePlay® lottery will be held after all Powerball® lottery. Players play the same set of numbers in both the main Powerball® draw and the DoublePlay® lottery, and Powerball® tickets containing the DoublePlay® add-on are eligible to win prizes in both draws. The Double-Play® draw will not be aired, but will be streamed live. Powerball.com You can see it on the PA Lottery website.

Adding a third draw date does not change the odds or prizes for Powerball® games. Players continue to choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26. The PowerPlay® add-on feature will continue to be available for an additional $ 1 per play to increase non-jackpot prizes. For prizes won in the Powerball® lottery. All 48 US lotteries will sell Powerball lottery tickets on Monday night.

“By continually innovating to meet the needs of our players, we can keep the lottery money flowing to seniors in Pennsylvania and help them pay for services such as prescription assistance, transportation, and rent and property tax refunds. “I will,” added Svitko.

On May 26th, the number of pre-lottery will begin to decrease by one after each draw and will decrease until August 23rd. The number of pre-lottery available will be changed from 26 draws to 20 draws.
