The Dutch Lottery saw its turnover , result and remittance increase again in 2019 . Total turnover amounts to 1,314.6 million euros. That is an increase of 12% compared to 2018. The prize money paid out to the players of the Dutch Lottery has risen to 894.7 million euros including gambling tax. In 2018 this was 775 million euros. It is also good news for Dutch sports and charities, as they receive a substantial part of the result of Dutch Lottery in the form of the payment .
Total payment of 173.1 million
Besides the distribution of prize money, g ate almost the entire result of Dutch Lottery in the form of remittance to the Dutch sports through NOC * NSF, to 18 charities in the areas of health, exercise and wellness and to Dutch society through the Ministry of Finance. In 2019, this contribution increased to 173.1 million euros. This amount is distributed to the shareholders:
- NOC * NSF receives € 46.4 million
- 18 charities received collectively 17.6 million
- The Dutch State receives 109.1 million euros
In 2018, the payment to the shareholders was 161.2 million.
