WestLotto extends the contract of managing director Christiane Jansen by five years

In its meeting today, the supervisory board of the North Rhine-Westphalian lottery company WestLotto decided to prematurely extend the contract of managing director Christiane Jansen by five years. The decision will take effect on January 1, 2021.

“The continuity of personnel in the WestLotto management is particularly important against the background of the currently changing framework conditions on the gaming market. The management team with spokesman Andreas Kötter and Christiane Jansen is ideally positioned to consolidate and expand WestLotto's position as a leading provider of gaming products, "said Michael Stölting, Chairman of the WestLotto Supervisory Board and member of the Board of Management of NRW.Bank.

Christiane Jansen has been the managing director of WestLotto since January 1, 2016. She is also the deputy chair of the Federal Association of German Gambling Companies (BDGU) and, as a member of the legal committee of the German Lotto and Totoblock (DLTB), accompanies the legal issues of the state lottery system in the context of future gaming legislation in Germany. The 54-year-old fully qualified lawyer worked as general representative of NRW.BANK in Münster and Düsseldorf until 2015.
