On Sunday, September 21, the Nebraska Lottery will launch a new Lotto game: Nebraska Pick 4.
Nebraska Pick 4 is a new daily Lotto game. Each play costs $1. Players select four numbers, each from a separate set of digits 0 through 9, for a chance to win up to $6,000.
“The Nebraska Pick 4 game is another example of the Nebraska Lottery’s commitment to providing quality entertainment options to our customers,” said Nebraska Lottery Director Brian Rockey. “We believe Nebraska Pick 4 will have broad appeal, especially with players that already play our Nebraska Pick 3 game. By further diversifying this product line, we are continuing our support for good causes such as the environment, education, the Nebraska State Fair and problem gamblers assistance.”
Like Nebraska Pick 3, players of Nebraska Pick 4 will be able to decide what type of play style and prizes to play for with six different bet types:
- Straight: match all four numbers in the exact order drawn
- Box: match all four numbers drawn in any order
- Straight/Box: match all four numbers drawn in exact or any order
- Front Pair: match the first two numbers drawn in exact order
- Middle Pair: match the middle two numbers drawn in exact order
- Back Pair: match the last two numbers drawn in exact order
Prizes in Nebraska Pick 4 range from $60 to $6,000. The odds of winning the $6,000 top prize are 1 in 10,000.
Nebraska Pick 4 tickets can be purchased at Nebraska Lottery retailers starting on Sunday, September 21. Nebraska Pick 4 drawings will be held seven days a week, and drawing results will be released to the news media and the public by 10 p.m. each night.
To give players a chance to try Nebraska Pick 4 when the game launches, coupons for free Nebraska Pick 4 plays will randomly print with Nebraska Pick 3 ticket purchases between September 14 and September 20. Coupons can be redeemed up to two weeks after the Nebraska Pick 4 launch.
