MASS LOTTERY WINS BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL EMMY® AWARD

 

DORCHESTER, MA (June 13, 2025) – The Massachusetts State Lottery has won a Boston/New England Regional Emmy® Award, receiving the honor for Editor - Short Form Content (Up to 10 Minutes) at the 48th Boston/New England Emmy® Awards Ceremony that took place Saturday, June 7.

The winning submission was a composite of promotional videos written, produced, and edited by Lottery team members Keith Macri (Creative Director), James Brockett (Editor & Producer), and Erik Freitas (Senior Editor & Producer).

The Mass Lottery received a total of five nominations this year. The additional nominated categories were: Commercial (two separate nominations), Writer – Short Form, and Audio Recording, Mixing and Design.

Over the last four years, the Mass Lottery has received a total of 12 Emmy® nominations. Among these honors, the Lottery captured its first Emmy® in 2022 in the category of Writer – Short Form Content (Up to 10 Minutes).

The awards are given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter, which is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television, the fostering of creative leadership in the television industry, and the encouragement of excellence in artistic, educational, cultural and technical progress.
