The Idaho Lottery has extended its primary scratch ticket printing contract with Pollard Banknote Limited for two years, until March 2027, according to a press release. This renewal ensures Pollard Banknote will continue to supply at least 71% of the Lottery's scratch tickets annually, along with related services like game design and marketing.
The partnership, which began in 2013, has seen Idaho Lottery scratch ticket sales increase by 33.1% since 2021. The collaboration included the successful launch of the Lottery's 35th Anniversary family of games in 2024, featuring Pollard Banknote's Scratch FX and a progressive jackpot second-chance promotion.
"We are excited to extend our partnership with the Idaho Lottery, which is built on our shared vision of innovation and player engagement," Byron Peterson, senior director sales and marketing, Pollard Banknote, said in the release. "Together, we will continue to develop exciting games and marketing strategies that resonate with Idahoans, ultimately supporting the valuable initiatives funded by lottery proceeds throughout the state."
The Idaho Lottery has contributed over $1.273 billion to Idaho public schools and buildings since its inception in 1989.
