In 2024, Luxembourg's National Lottery generated a record-breaking €90 million in gross revenue, with sports betting driving much of the growth.
On Wednesday, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte announced that Luxembourg's National Lottery achieved a record gross revenue of over €90 million in 2024, marking an 18% increase compared to the previous year.
During the same period, the National Lottery paid out €178 million in winnings to Luxembourg residents. Notably, profits from sports betting saw a significant surge, rising by 50% compared to 2023.
In its press release, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte emphasised its ongoing commitment to combating illegal gambling.
