Michael “Mickey” Boardman, Director of the Maine State Lottery voted the Lead Director starting July2024

The Lucky for Life® game group has recently announced that Michael “Mickey” Boardman, Director of the Maine State Lottery, was unanimously voted as the Lead Director starting July2024.

Lucky for Life is played in 23 states with a top prize of $365,000 a year for life and nine other prize levels from $3 up to $25,000 a year for life.

Drawings are nightly.

Mr. Boardman has over 30 years of industry experience, working for both SG and GTECH before joining the Maine State Lottery in 2000. 

He quickly rose to Director of Operations prior to assuming the position of full responsibility for the lottery. 

He has been actively involved with the Lucky for Life game since its inception in 2012 as a New England game.

The game group looks forward to his steady leadership as a national for life game is developed.
