HKJC: Mark Six enhanced with more and bigger Snowball draws, continuing to benefit the community

To meet the public’s demand for larger Mark Six Snowball prizes, HKJC Lotteries Limited will adjust the Snowball pool arrangement with the aim of increasing the Snowball pool reserve, with effect from 21 May 2024 (Draw no. 58). This will facilitate a larger number of Snowball draws with a bigger First Division Prize Fund going forward.

The Snowball draw is a major attraction of the Mark Six. By boosting the reserve pool, the number of Snowball draws each year will increase from approximately seven to a maximum of 12 progressively in the coming year. The First Division Prize of some Snowball draws will increase substantially to a maximum of HK$100 million in the future.

The minimum First Division Prize Fund remains the same, at HK$8 million for each draw. All other Mark Six allocations, including the percentage for First to Third prizes and the fixed amount for Fourth to Seventh prizes, also remain unchanged.

The majority of revenue from the Mark Six, after payouts, contributes to the betterment of Hong Kong. Some 40% of its turnover is allocated to Lottery Duty and the Lotteries Fund. The Mark Six’s contribution serves as the primary source of income for the Lotteries Fund, supporting numerous social welfare organisations to serve the community.
