NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation (TEL) has set a new record for a first quarter transfer to the Lottery for Education Account at $133,372,000. Total revenues for the quarter (July 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2023) were up 5.9 percent over the same period last year and the highest for any first quarter since inception on Jan. 20, 2004.
Additional details about the funds generated by the TEL since inception include:
- More than $7.1 Billion in total education funding
- More than $19.5 Billion in prizes won by players
- More than $1.8 Billion paid in retailer commissions
