Allwyn announces new leadership team to spearhead delivery of The National Lottery

New Executive will lead the delivery of the Fourth National Lottery Licence

London, UK – Allwyn has announced the new leadership team that will oversee the delivery of the Fourth National Lottery Licence, which begins on 1 February 2024, and the transformation of The National Lottery over the next decade.

Robert Chvàtal, Allwyn CEO who will handover the reins of the UK leadership to Andria Vidler in October, commented: “This is a talented team with deep experience and a strong personal commitment to delivering the very best for communities across the UK through ever greater returns to Good Causes from The National Lottery.  Andria and I look forward to working with them all over the coming years.”

From 1 October 2023, the new Allwyn leadership will be:

  • Operations – Transformation Director – Eddie Bennett
  • Technology – Transformation Director – Paul Lumb

Advisors to 4NL Executive team/3NL leadership representation to support transition and integration:

  • Camelot and 3NL Co-CEOs – Neil Brocklehurst, Clare Swindell

‍The leadership team includes new recruits: Andria Vidler, whose appointment was announced in July; Alan Artz, who joined Allwyn in this summer from William Hill; Chris Lyman who will move from his role as CEO of Lotto New Zealand back to the UK to join Allwyn in October; and Mark Smith, currently Group Chief Technology Officer at ITV who joins in November.

Current Camelot co-CEOs, Neil Brocklehurst and Clare Swindell, are supporting the handover to the incoming Allwyn UK CEO, Andria Vidler before their departure.

Allwyn appoints Naida Buljugic as Global Chief People and Culture Officer

LUCERNE, Switzerland – 1 September 2023 – Allwyn, a leading multi-national lottery operator, announces the appointment of Naida Buljugic as Allwyn’s first Global Chief People and Culture Officer, effective 1st September 2023.

Naida has been with Allwyn for the last five years as Head of HR at Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries. In her new role, Naida will be responsible for driving Allwyn’s People and Culture strategy globally, leading all organisational and talent development initiatives across Allwyn.

Naida brings a wealth of senior HR experience to the role. Prior to her time at Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries, she spent a number of years at UniCredit Group, including as Head of CEE HR Corporate & Investment Banking and Private Banking in Vienna and Group Head of Executive Development and Talent Management at UniCredit Group in Milan. Before that, she held the SVP role of Group Head of HR for Risk Management, as well as several senior HR roles at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

In her new capacity, Naida will play a critical role in establishing Allwyn’s future people agenda, global initiatives to attract and retain talent, as well as a global culture programme.
