OVER $860 MILLION IN JACKPOTS AT STAKE THIS WEEKEND AS MEGA MILLIONS, POWERBALL, MEGABUCKS DOUBLER JACKPOTS CONTINUE TO RISE

 

DORCHESTER, MA (June 29, 2023) – Three jackpots for games offered by the Massachusetts State Lottery continue to rise. The jackpots for this weekend’s drawings are as follows:

Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing will be the twenty-first since the jackpot was last hit April 18, when a $20 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in New York. Friday’s jackpot is the game’s largest since April 14, when a $483 million jackpot was also won on a ticket sold in New York. Mega Millions jackpots of $33 million and $31 million were won on tickets sold in Massachusetts for the January 24 and January 31 drawings, respectively.

 

Saturday night’s Powerball drawing will be the thirty-first since the jackpot was last hit April 19, when a $252.6 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in Ohio. Saturday’s jackpot is the game’s largest since February 6, when a $754.6 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in Washington.

 

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. Friday at Mass Lottery retailers throughout the state. Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. in Atlanta, GA.

 

Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be played in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets can be purchased until 9:50 p.m. Saturday. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. in Tallahassee, FL.

 

Megabucks Doubler tickets are $1 each and can only be purchased in Massachusetts. Tickets can be purchased until 9 p.m. Saturday. Megabucks Doubler drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m.
