EL Advertising Awards 2023 - Open for submissions!

The European Lotteries (EL) is proud to announce the opening of the submission period for the EL Advertising Awards 2023! The deadline for submissions is 26 May.

The 11th EL Congress (June 4-7, 2023, Šibenik | Croatia) continues the tradition of the EL Advertising Awards, designed to acknowledge and promote best practices in lottery advertising.

The best commercial in each of the five categories will win an EL Advertising Award. In addition, one of the winning commercials will be awarded the EL Grand Prix 2023.

 

Categories

  1. Corporate campaign commercial
  2. Draw Based Game commercial
  3. (Online) Instant Game commercial
  4. Sports Betting commercial
  5. Responsible Gaming (NEW!)

Eligibility 

  • Only EL Regular Members are eligible to enter.
  • A maximum of three entries per EL Regular Member per category is allowed.
  • Commercials should be valid within the last term of the EL Executive Committee (2021-2023).
  • Commercials should be in English or with English subtitles.

What is the entry fee?

The entry fee is 250 EUR (ex VAT) per submission. 
One commercial = one submission

How do I submit my commercial? 

Submissions can only be made via the dedicated page on MyEL.

Note: Registration and payment must be completed to allow the judging of entries. 

 

What is the judging procedure?

  • A jury will assess submissions according to a criteria (i.e. effectiveness, content, design, creativity, uniqueness, storytelling, ability to gain attention). The shortlist will be available during a dedicated moment at the Congress & Trade Show.
  • Participants at the Congress will be able to vote once for their favourite commercial in each category. The vote will take place via a voting tool during the Awards Ceremony section of the programme. 
     
  • Participants will also be able to vote once for their favourite commercial to win the EL Grand Prix 2023.
     
  • The winner of each category will be announced and presented an Award during the Awards Ceremony. The Grand Prix winner will be awarded during the closing event.
