Apr 24, 2022

According to figures from the state, the state’s market was $22.6 million in gross gaming win in March, with adjusted win of $18.6 million after deducting promotional spend.

FanDuel and DraftKings both operate online casinos in the state on behalf of their respective tribal partners. Foxwoods Casino is partnered with DraftKings, while Mohegan Sun is with FanDuel.

Figures show that nearly $570 million was bet between those two sites during March.

Connecticut’s online casino gambling market kicked off in October, with the state collecting $1.2 million in revenue from online casino gambling.

Connecticut is one of just a handful of states in the U.S. with regulated iCasino.

“This first revenue collection for our state reinforces the process and approach by my administration when it came to ensuring our sports betting and iCasino platforms worked seamlessly for consumers,” Governor Lamont said late last year.

“We worked tirelessly with our casino and state partners to ensure Connecticut consumers would have positive user experiences across platforms and that is exactly what these results illustrate. We’re off to a great start with this new gaming marketplace and we’re looking forward to years of success.”
