Michigan Online Gambling Generates $122M in February

Michigan online gambling numbers are in from February.

According to figures from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, commercial and tribal internet casino gaming and sports betting operators reported a combined $145.28 million in revenue during the month of February.

Retail casino gambling (not including sports betting) was $94.7 million during the month.

On a month-over-month basis, revenue from online casino and retail/online sports betting was down 6.8% compared to January.

February internet casino gaming win was a Michigan record $122.78 million, exceeding the previous record of $121.8 million set in December 2021. Michigan kicked off online casinos in January 2021.

The internet gaming revenue was 1.3% higher than in January.

Gross sports betting revenue (online and retail) was $22.5 million. Total handle during February was $398.4 million, a fall of 19.8% compared with January’s numbers.

Compared with February 2021 results, monthly internet gaming adjusted gross receipts were up 47% and internet sports betting adjusted gross receipts rose 63.4%.

For the first two months of 2022, internet gaming adjusted gross receipts totaled $219.7 million, and aggregate internet sports betting adjusted gross sports betting receipts were $15.2 million.
