Delaware’s online gambling revenue fell 5.4 per cent year-on-year in September, although wagers grew 43.7 per cent.
US.- Delaware’s regulated igaming market saw revenue of $794,644 for September, down from $840,146 in September 2020 and down 16 per cent from $945,512 in August, despite players in the state spend 43.7 per cent more year-on-year.
Of the state’s three operators, Harrington Raceway took most with $276,604 in revenue for September. Players spent $7.1m with the operator. Delaware Park came close behind with $261,370 in revenue and $11.1m in player spend. In third place was Dover Downs with $256,669 in revenue off $7.8m in wagers.
Delaware Park showed the biggest growth in igaming wagers, with a rise of 71 per cent. Dover Downs’ igaming wagers increased 21 per cent and Harrington Race wagers 36 per cent.
Video lottery accounted for $671,885 of revenue for the month, with $95,625 coming from online table games and $27,134 from poker rake and fees. Players wagered $16.3m on video lottery during the month and $9.7m on online table games.
