Lottery.com moves headquarters from Silicon Valley to Austin

Lottery.com, the massive digital lottery provider, said Thursday that it has moved its headquarters from Silicon Valley to Austin.

Company leaders were drawn to Austin because of the city’s business environment, cost of living, access to talent and relationships with brand partners, according to a company news release. The company recently opened operations facilities in Dallas and Waco and has plans to expand across the state.

Lottery.com provides live scanning, result tracking and instant cash-outs for state-sanctioned games through its mobile app. It is the top seller of the Powerball and Mega Millions tickets in Texas, according to the company.

“Lottery.com has enjoyed tremendous success in Texas, and we are proud to now call ourselves Texans,” CEO Tony DiMatteo said in a written statement. “We have big plans in this state, as well as for expansion both domestically and internationally.”

The company moved into a 10,000-square-foot office in Bee Cave, and a majority of the executive team is now in Austin, according to a spokeswoman. Twelve employees are currently based in the new office, and the company plans to move additional staff when the space is fully renovated.

As part of the expansion plan, Lottery.com also announced Thursday that it has appointed Ryan Dickinson as president.

“I’m thrilled with Ryan’s operation and execution of the company’s vision, and look forward to major growth in 2019 and beyond,” DiMatteo said.

Lottery.com has offices in San Francisco, New York, Canada, Ireland, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
