Online lottery courier service Jackpot has broadened its reach in the US through a partnership with convenience store chain 7-Eleven.

Initially beginning in Ohio and Massachusetts, 7-Eleven customers can collect a free lottery ticket on their first deposit by using a promo code when shopping in one of the company’s stores.

Over 600 shops across the two states will offer the option to sign up and play lottery games and scratchcards on the Jackpot website and app.

“This might be the biggest announcement we have ever made in the short but eventful history of this company,” said Jackpot CEO and co-founder Akshay Khanna on LinkedIn.

“Working with a brand as recognized as 7-Eleven furthers our ability to fulfil our vision - to connect many more of our current and future customers with their dreams, via the lottery and scratch tickets they can now buy on our platform.”

Jackpot said the deal is designed to integrate “an added layer of accessibility for players” and “another avenue for player convenience.”
