JOB: Carmanah Signs Vice President, Sales - Americas

We’re a friendly team of top performers with a great entrepreneurial culture, and we’re looking for a new VP of Sales who’s ready to shine! Reporting to our SVP of Global Sales & Business Development, you will be responsible for developing relationships with Lottery executives and vendor partners, fostering sales opportunities within the Americas with a primary focus on the United States.

This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada that is reasonably close to a major airport.

Carmanah Signs is the Lottery & Gaming Division of STRATACACHE, the world’s leading provider of intelligent digital signage and in-store marketing technologies. Serving 57 lotteries on four continents, Carmanah has over 230,000 networked sign installations at lottery retailers worldwide. Carmanah offers a variety of products designed to engage players and enhance a Lottery’s brand at retail, including digital sign Content Management Software, Media Players, Commercial Grade LCD Displays, All-in-One Interactive Tablets, and Wirelessly Updated Jackpot Signs.

We also offer a complete suite of services to help lotteries build and operate effective digital communication platforms at retail, including network hosting, network monitoring, content creation and scheduling, and specialized field services

Carmanah’s retail marketing technologies help lotteries transform the player journey, deepen player insights, and grow sales, responsibly raising funds for beneficiaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develop and nurture business relationships with an extensive network of U.S. Lottery executives and regulators across various management levels in sales, marketing, and technology. 

  • Enhance existing partnerships and develop new partnerships with Central Gaming System (CGS) vendors for North American lotteries and other major vendors. 

  • Generate visits and meetings with Lottery management as an opportunity to learn more about each Lottery’s retail objectives and to provide professional presentations about Carmanah’s track record and capabilities.

  • Attend and participate in most, or all, of the annual North American Lottery tradeshows, conferences, and seminars. Participate in panels and give presentations at these events.

  • As opportunities are developed, provide ongoing updates to Carmanah sales, management, and technical teams so that project scope and commercial terms can be developed.

  • Define and verify scope for client quotations and proposals.

  • Participate in planning meetings for RFP responses and assist with editing final drafts before responses are submitted.

  • After a Purchase Order has been received, transition the opportunity to the project management, supply chain, and technical teams.

  • Follow-up with customers regarding project and delivery status as required. 

  • Travel as required to develop business leads and opportunities via in-person presentations of Carmanah’s products, services, and capabilities.

  • Provide competitive intelligence updates to the executive management team as needed.

  • Provide quarterly account management updates to the executive management team.

  • Meet weekly with SVP Global Sales & Business Development to review account management status of individual clients and ensure deliverables are on target.

  • Enter documentation into order management system.
