PAGCOR to be led by Tengco

PAGCOR to be led by Tengco

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) has new leadership in the form of Alejandro H. Tengco, who replaces Andrea Domingo as the head of the Philippines’ casino regulator.

The regulator states Tengco was sworn into office by Philippines President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr, in a recently held oathtaking ceremony. Tengco takes on the role of Chairman and CEO.

Elsewhere, PAGCOR will also have a new Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the form of Attorney Juanito L. Sañosa Jr.

The regulator’s new Board of Directors will be completed by Gilbert Cesar C. Remulla, Francis Democrito C. Concordia and Jose Maria C. Ortega.

PAGCOR’s leadership usually changes when a new national party comes into power, with Marcos Jr coming into power on 30 May after winning the national election.

The regulator was set up by Marco Jr’s father Ferdinand Marcos Snr in 1977 when he himself was the President of the Philippines.
