Maryland Casinos Generate $160.4 Million in Revenue During November
 
Casinos contribute $67.2 million to the state

 

(Baltimore) – Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $160,363,589 in gaming revenue during November 2021. The total represents an increase of $29,986,111 (23.0%) compared to November 2020, when the casinos were operating under capacity restrictions due to COVID-19.

 

Casino gaming contributions to the state in November 2021 totaled $67,173,472, an increase of $13,470,666 (25.1%) compared to the $53,702,806 contributed to the state in November 2020.

 

Contributions to the Education Trust Fund (ETF) in November 2021 were $48,858,625, an increase of $9,791,922 (25.1%) compared to the $39,066,703 in ETF contributions during November 2020. Casino gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

 

Maryland’s six privately owned casinos offer both slot machines and table games: MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County; Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County; Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City; Ocean Downs Casino in Worcester County; Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County; and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

 

The gaming revenue totals for November 2021 are as follows:

 

MGM National Harbor (2,131 slot machines, 201 table games)

$67,858,084 in November 2021, an increase of $12,533,240 (22.7%) from November 2020

 

Live! Casino & Hotel (3,764 slot machines, 187 table games)

$58,196,084 in November 2021, an increase of $13,188,501 (29.3%) from November 2020

 

Horseshoe Casino (1,427 slot machines, 137 table games)

$15,676,825 in November 2021, an increase of $421,851 (2.8%) from November 2020

 

Hollywood Casino (726 slot machines, 18 table games)

$7,049,361 in November 2021, an increase of $1,170,393 (19.9%) from November 2020

 

Ocean Downs Casino (768 slot machines, 18 table games)

$6,643,046 in November 2021, an increase of $1,547,315 (30.4%) from November 2020

 

Rocky Gap Casino (618 slot machines, 16 table games)

$4,940,189 in November 2021, an increase of $1,124,811 (29.5%) from November 2020
