LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada gaming regulators held a workshop Tuesday morning to discuss how casino-resorts can reopen amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The Gaming Control Board met virtually to hear from officials around the state on their response efforts.
Board members spoke with the following:
- New Nevada COVID-19 response director Caleb Cage
- UMC CEO Mason Van Houweling
- Southern Nevada Health District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Fermin Leguen
- Clark County Fire Chief John Steinbeck
Gov. Steve Sisolak's office said last week the state is tentatively setting June 4 as the date when gaming venues in Nevada can reopen, part of the second phase of reopening the economy.
