The plan was originally tabled in July of this year, but has now been introduced. It will apply to all player losses, including only betting and will be applied per site. The previous limit was €500, which was introduced in April of 2020.

If players wish to justify a higher loss limit they can apply to the commission. The commission is also planning to implement a ban on gambling advertising.
