The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking an energetic, collaborative, team-oriented, driven and dynamic marketing leader with a proven track record of success in senior marketing roles to join its team at its headquarters outside Harrisburg in Middletown, Pennsylvania.

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Lunch Period: 30 Minutes

The Director of Marketing oversees the Lottery's Marketing Division and all activities associated with marketing, branding, advertising and promotions, reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Director for Marketing and Product Development.  The marketing leader is responsible for strategizing, planning, developing and implementing the Pennsylvania Lottery's integrated marketing program to maximize Lottery sales and profits for senior programs.

The Pennsylvania Lottery is looking for someone with a proven track record of success in senior marketing roles with an advertising agency or in the lottery/gaming or consumer packaged goods industry.

The selected candidate will be creative, organized, proactive, collaborative and flexible as our business requires multitasking on various projects in a fast-paced environment. This individual should also be an expert communicator and have experience effectively leading a team.

As a senior marketing leader, the person selected for this position will oversee a $51 million advertising budget and play an integral role in a $4 billion sales organization. In addition to working for one of the most respected and recognized brands in Pennsylvania, the individual will be working to help fulfill an important mission: to generate funding to benefit older Pennsylvanians.

Eight years of management experience in marketing and advertising; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
Senior-level marketing and advertising experience with an advertising agency or in the lottery/gaming or consumer packaged goods industry.
