THE POSITION:

The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented, analytical individual with an excellent understanding of modern consumer research and analytical techniques and principles. The person selected for this position will be an integral part of a $4 billion sales organization. You'll be working for one of the most respected brands in Pennsylvania and on behalf of a very important mission: to generate funding to benefit older Pennsylvanians. Successful candidates will have experience with data analytics, a statistics background and have a strong aptitude for learning new software packages.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

This position supports the Research Division at the Pennsylvania Lottery in all functions including sales analysis, sales and revenue forecasting, complex data mining and modeling, and design and reporting of quantitative and qualitative research projects.

 Our expectations for the ideal candidates to fill these positions:

  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Proficiently navigate PC/applications/systems
  • Proficient with data extraction
  • Proficient with data visualization
  • Develop, program and deploy surveys
  • Analyze and interpret survey results
  • Apply Lottery policies, rules, and regulations
  • Apply marketing/sales principles and practices
  • Apply research & analysis principles and techniques
  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
  • Organize/present results of research/analyses
  • Design and employ analytical models


The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:

Three years of experience in systems analysis and/or research and a bachelor's degree

or

an equivalent combination of experience and training.
