International Volunteer Day is the start of WestLotto's big thank you campaign: from December 5th to 9th, the state lottery provider is giving away 1,000×2 tickets exclusively to volunteers from North Rhine-Westphalia for the urbanatix show on December 27th in the Grugahalle Essen. Volunteers can take part in the raffle at www.danke-ehrenamt.de - and thus secure their very own personal thank you for their voluntary work.

WestLotto is carrying out the campaign in cooperation with the State Working Group of Volunteer Agencies in North Rhine-Westphalia (lagfa NRW) and is thus sending a sign of appreciation and recognition for the millions of volunteers in North Rhine-Westphalia. Last year, WestLotto gave out 9 euro bus and train tickets to 5,000 volunteers in a thank-you campaign. The urbanatix show will be shown directly after Christmas exclusively for volunteers. An action-packed afternoon awaits you: Street artistry from the Ruhr area meets world-class international artists.

WestLotto invites volunteers from all over North Rhine-Westphalia to an exclusive show

Curtain up for volunteer work: In recognition of their great commitment, WestLotto is inviting volunteers from all over North Rhine-Westphalia to an exclusive show event. In cooperation with the state association of volunteer agencies in North Rhine-Westphalia, WestLotto is giving away 1,000×2 tickets for the urbanatix street art show on December 27th in the Grugahalle in Essen. From December 5th, International Volunteer Day, volunteers from North Rhine-Westphalia can apply at www.danke-ehrenamt.de and have the chance to win tickets for themselves and a favorite person of their choice for five days.

“We should always be aware of how valuable the work of volunteers is for our social coexistence. And we can’t thank you often enough,” emphasizes Andreas Kötter, Managing Director of WestLotto. The state lottery provider has been committed to promoting volunteerism for years. Last year, WestLotto gave 5,000 volunteers a 9-euro bus and train ticket as a sign of recognition and appreciation.

Because almost half of all volunteers in North Rhine-Westphalia do not feel sufficiently valued. This emerges from the volunteer atlas that WestLotto published based on a forsa survey. It provides data on the engagement of people in all 53 districts and independent cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. A new survey is planned for the beginning of 2024.
