In total, gaming companies with a Swedish license had sales of SEK 6 billion (players' contributions minus paid out winnings) during the third quarter of 2020. At the end of the third quarter, just over 56,000 were suspended for games via Spelpaus.se. This is an increase of almost 7 percent compared with the previous quarter. By mid-November 2020, the number had increased to almost 58,000 people.

100 companies had active licenses on the Swedish market in November 2020 (licenses for non-profit purposes not included). 72 of these companies were licensed for betting and / or commercial gaming online.

There is no actual information on how much is played at gaming companies without a Swedish license. The British analysis company H2 Gambling Capital estimates that during the third quarter of 2020, a total of between SEK 627 - 740 million (after paid out profits) was played at companies outside the Swedish licensing system. H2 Gambling Capital's estimate refers to all gambling outside the Swedish licensing system, ie also gambling with companies that do not target Sweden and thus do not need to have a Swedish license.
