Kambi expands into Netherlands with a new deal with BetEnt

n a strategic footprint-expanding association into the Netherlands, Kambi Group announced Friday a multi-year partnership deal with Dutch operator BetEnt, which will launch its Kambi-powered BetCity.nl website on Friday.

BetEnt’s BetCity.nl is a new sports-only brand launched by a management team and underlying shareholders with years of expertise in the land-based casino sector, owning assets including Amsterdam-based Casino City.

The agreement will see BetCity.nl leverage Kambi’s technology and expansive sports betting offer, as well as its expertise in the areas of compliance and sports integrity. 

As announced by the Dutch gaming regulator on Wednesday, BetEnt was among the first operators to receive a license to offer online gambling, thus launching on day one upon the market opening on October 1. 

In an official press release, Kristian Nylén, CEO of Kambi, commented on this new partnership and said: “Kambi is delighted to have been selected as the exclusive online sportsbook provider to BetCity.nl and provide the support for them to launch on day one of the market opening.
