Bet on gambling bills resurfacing at the State Capitol in Michigan

LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) --  Former Governor Rick Snyder may have rejected a bi-partisan effort to greatly expand all kinds of online and charitable gambling in Michigan with a lame duck veto as he was headed out the door, but there is too much money at stake for it to go away.

Rep. Brandt Iden of Oshtemo says he just thinks Governor Snyder didn’t understand that the gambling is taking place now, but the money is all leaving the state.

He plans to reintroduce bills that would allow fantasy leagues like DraftKing and Fanduel to operate in Michigan, allow state Casinos to operate gambling websites and sports betting online.
