UK National Lottery rule changes could see more winners during Rolldown pay outs

The change in rules will come into force from November 7 and will mean bigger prizes handed out when there is a Rolldown

The rules for the National Lottery are changing next month - and it should mean people have more chance of scooping a cash prize.

The changes will come into force from November 7 and will mean bigger prizes handed out when there is a Rolldown.

A Rolldown happens when the jackpot has rolled over so many times that the prize has to be won.

The change will mean that anyone who matches just two numbers during a Rolldown draw will get £5 and a Lucky Dip to play again for free.

Anyone matching numbers should see their prize increased.

Players who use the app will need to upgrade on November 5 to take advantage of the new system.
